INCH x Step Up to Net Zero
We’ve signed up to the Step up to Net Zero (SUTNZ) programme. Funded by Glasgow City Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, SUTNZ aims to support organisations on their journey towards sustainability and Net Zero. The Chambers have helped us to develop a Net Zero action plan, and to implement the action plan, we’ve welcomed Mark Reid-Foster to the team as our Net Zero Coordinator.
Since January Mark has been developing the sustainability strategy that will take us to net zero within our practice, as well working towards the bigger challenge of tackling the environmental impact of our projects. We’re also developing a project toolkit that will help us on the road to net zero carbon emissions within the built environment.
We’ve signed up to Architects Declare (AD) and committed to addressing the 12 points of the AD declaration within our practice. We’ll be committing to, and reporting, our practice net zero targets through the SME Climate Hub. To help us take our project-based emissions towards net zero we’re signing up to the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge.
