Designing for Wellbeing

INCH director Lesley Palmer took part in #DesignPopUp’s panel talk on “Architecture for Inclusivity: benefits of people-centric approach to design”. Lesley as Professor of Aging & Dementia design at Stirling University is at the forefront of research and development in this field, the principles of which are then adopted through project work at INCH, an exemplar being Broomhill Gardens which was recognized in the Worlds Alzheimer Report 2020 as a dementia friendly public building.

Further reading on Broomhill’s approach to designing for dementia can be [read here].
